Pia Ampaw

Pia Ampaw (born January 5, 1976 in Unna ) is a German theater and film actress as well as television presenter .

education

Ampaw attended the Siegtal-Gymnasium in Eitorf and learned to act from 1997 to 2000 at the drama school Center for Movement, Drama and Dance in Cologne under the direction of Gisela Olroth-Hackenbroch. She completed her training with a general stage qualification . In 1998 she took part in the Method Acting seminar with Ian Halcrow, also in Cologne. The following year she was one of the participants in the camera acting seminar under the direction of Dorothee Neunkirchen. From 1999 to 2001 she took singing lessons with Buena Ventura Braunstein. Since 2001 she has been taking singing lessons with Fernando Moleres in Barcelona and at the same time with Adrien Morgan Hammond in Cologne.

Private

Ampaw is the daughter of a Ghanaian and a German. She has two children.
