Art and culture in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover
The Art and Culture Department in the House of Church Services of the Evangelical Lutheran Regional Church of Hanover is responsible for the areas of art and culture in the Regional Church . The specialist service is the organizer of the culture award of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover .
history
The Art and Culture Service was created from the formation of the media center in the Office for Community Service, which began its work in 1977. The film chamber, the book and library work and the department for musical work of the State Youth Parish Office in Hanover were brought together in the media center . From 1998 to 2002, the media center in the Office for Community Service comprised the media center, the church leisure facilities, the village helpers' organization and equality. The media center was later renamed the Center for Media, Art, Culture and from 2003 it was a specialist department in the Church in Dialogue Department in the House of Church Services. The areas of media lending and library work were separated and have since formed a separate area, which is now a field of work. The Art and Culture specialist service has been a field of activity in Faculty 5 of the House of Church Services since 2009 .

The field of art and culture offers exchange, advice, training and lectures and maintains contacts with artists and organizations. It conveys and informs about the subject of art and culture. The field of work organizes and hosts exhibitions, e.g. B. in church rooms. There are publications, flyers, handouts, film reviews, books and the like.
