Kupun Kushantha (born June 1, 1995 in Badulla ) is a Sri Lankan middle-distance runner .
Athletic career
Kupun Kushantha gained his first international experience in 2014 at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei , where he was disqualified in the 800-meter run in the final. In 2019 he took part in the South Asian Games in Kathmandu , where he finished sixth in the 1,500-meter run in 4: 13.29 minutes .
In 2019, Kushantha became Sri Lankan champion in the 1500 meter run.
