Kura ( Indonesian Pulau Kura , Turtle Island ) is an Indonesian island in the Alor Archipelago . According to a local legend, the island was created from a huge turtle, which is why it was named.
geography
The island is located in Biangmerang Bay , on the north coast of Pantar Island . Kura has around 50 hectares and is inhabited. It belongs to the district of Westpantar (Pantar Barat).
