The Kurilo Point (English; Bulgarian нос Курило nos Kurilo ) is a 200 m long and non-iced headland on the southeast coast of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3.1 km southwest of President Head and 2.3 km north of the Hall Peninsula .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the town of Kurilo in western Bulgaria .
