Kurt Bätz

Kurt Bätz (* 1942 in Heidelberg ; † November 6, 1987 in Stuttgart ) was a German religious educator.

Bätz's father was an authorized signatory at a Jewish furniture factory in Heidelberg. Bätz attended the Helmholtz High School in Heidelberg , where he graduated from high school in 1961. He then studied Protestant theology in Göttingen and Heidelberg .

After a vicariate in Mannheim - Seckenheim , he was a religion teacher at the Justus-Knecht-Gymnasium Bruchsal from 1968 to 1978 . Later he became head of studies at the Religious Education Institute (RPI) in Karlsruhe . In 1985 he received his doctorate from the University of Frankfurt a. M. to Dr. phil. He died of a heart attack on November 6, 1987.
