Kurt Biesalski

Kurt Biesalski (born February 16, 1935 in Frankenau , East Prussia ) is a German film and book author.

Life

Biesalski made his Abitur at the Goethe High School in Schwerin and attended the officers' school of the Volksmarine , where he became a lieutenant at sea . He then began studying German and English at the University of Rostock . In 1965 he became an editor at the Rostock television studio and also published his first literary works.

Since 1975 he has lived as a freelance writer in Hohen Viecheln , where he was mayor in 1990.
