Kurt Reusser
Kurt Reusser (born September 9, 1950 ) is a Swiss educator and professor emeritus for educational psychology at the University of Zurich .
From 1966 he obtained his primary school teacher certificate at the state teacher training college in Hofwil- Bern and taught until 1970. At the University of Bern he obtained the seminar teacher diploma LSEB (pedagogy, psychology, philosophy) and became a senior teacher in Büren an der Aare . 1972–1976 he studied a. a. with Hans Aebli , Klaus Foppa , Henri Lauener at the University of Bern; he obtained his doctorate in 1984 (pedagogy with a focus on pedagogical psychology). Further studies followed at the University of Colorado at Boulder , Institute of Cognitive Science, USA, in particular on Artificial Intelligence with Walter Kintsch . The habilitation took place in 1990 at the University of Bern (venia docendi: educational psychology and didactics). From 1993 to 2016 he was Professor of Education with a focus on educational psychology and didactics at the University of Zurich.
