Kurt Schimmel

Johannes Kurt Schimmel (born September 20, 1892 in Pohlitz ; † December 16, 1941 ) was a German administrative lawyer, Senator of the Free City of Danzig , President of the Main Chamber of Commerce in Danzig as well as NSDAP - district economic advisor and regional president of the administrative district of Bromberg in the Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia (1940– 1941).

Schimmel graduated in law and political science in 1912 and his doctorate in 1920 at the University of Greifswald Dr. jur. He took part in the First World War.
