Kurt Wahl

Kurt Wahl (born May 5, 1912 ; † unknown) was a German foil fencer , German champion and Olympic participant. He fought at MTV Munich in 1879 .

Kurt Wahl became German champion in foil fencing in 1952 and 1954 . Even before the Second World War, he was second in 1940 , 1941 and 1943 . He also took second place in the first championships after the Second World War in 1951 and again in 1953 .

In 1952 he took part in the Olympic Games in Helsinki . In the individual, he won only two battles in the first round and was eliminated as the fifth of his round, the team reached the quarter-finals, but finished last without a win.

From 1955 to 1976 Wahl was President of the Bavarian Fencing Association .
