The German fencing championships in 1943 took place in Luxembourg. In the individual championships the men won JOSEF LOSERT (foil), Erwin Kroggel (sword) and Richard Liebscher (saber). Lilo Allgayer prevailed in the women's floret . There were no team competitions this year. The championships were organized by the German Fencing Association . It should be the last German fencing championships before the end of the Second World War and the subsequent ban on sport fencing by the Allied Control Council . It was not until 1951 that national championships were held again.
