At the German Fencing Championships 2013 , individual and team competitions in fencing were held in the Olympic base in Tauberbischofsheim and in Leipzig. The championships were organized by the German Fencing Association .

In the men's floret, Peter Joppich won his fifth individual title, in the saber Benedikt Wagner won his first, and in the epee, Christoph Kneip won for the second time after a strong fight against last year's winner Jörg Fiedler . In the women's category, Carolin Golubytskyi won her fourth individual title in foil , Stefanie Kubissa also won her saber and Ricarda Multerer for the second time.

The German Samsung Championships 2013 took place from April 20 to 21, 2013 in Tauberbischofsheim . The individual competitions were fought on April 20 and the team competitions on April 21.
