Ricarda Multerer
Ricarda Multerer (born April 5, 1990 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German sword fencer . She is five times German champion .
Life
Multerer graduated from the Waldorf School in Schwäbisch Gmünd . Sporty home is the Heidenheimer SB , where she is trained by Piotr Sozanski .
Between 2003 and 2009 she won twelve German championship titles in the junior division as an individual fencer and in team fencing. In November 2010 she won the silver medal at the World Fencing Championships in Paris as a member of the German epee team with Britta Heidemann , Imke Duplitzer and Monika Sozanska . In 2011 she won the German team championship, in 2012 she was German champion both individually and with the team. At the Olympic Games in 2012 , she reached fifth place with the team. In 2013 she won the 2013 German Fencing Championshipsin singles, 2014 with the team.
She is a sports soldier ( corporal in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Mainz).
