Andreas Falb (born July 25, 1994 ) is a German saber fencer .

Life

Andreas Falb grew up in Ingolstadt and began his sporting career at TV Ingolstadt. On August 1, 2011, he moved to the Olympic base at the Tauberbischofsheim fencing club . From 2011 onwards, Falb attended the commercial high school of the Tauberbischofsheim commercial school , which he graduated from high school in 2014. He then began to study law at the University of Würzburg .

Sporting successes

Falb won the silver medal at the German fencing championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015 with the saber team of the Tauberbischofsheim fencing club. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, three bronze medals with the saber team followed.

From 2015 to 2016, Falb was a member of the B-squad, i.e. the highest German federal squad of saber fencers.
