The German fencing championships in 1913 took place from May 11th to 13th in Offenbach am Main . These were the first championships organized by the German Fencing Association , founded in 1911 . The individual championships were held in men's florets, men's epee and men's saber, team competitions were held in men's epee and men's saber. Women's competitions weren't introduced until 1923.
