Hermann Plaskuda

Hermann Plaskuda (born April 6, 1879 in Zobten am Berge , † March 21, 1918 in France) was a German fencer , Olympic participant and German master . He fought for the German-Italian fencing club in Berlin . In 1918 he fell in the First World War .

successes

Plaskuda participated in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in four competitions in all three branches of service. In the foil singles he was eliminated in the second round as the penultimate of his round, in the epee singles already in the first round. With the sword team ( Emil Schön , Friedrich Schwarz , Heinrich Ziegler and Plaskuda) he finished in seventh place just like with the saber team (together with eight other fencers).

In 1913 he won the title with the saber at the first championship organized by the German Fencing Association .
