Hedwig hatred
Hedwig Wilhelmine Haß (born July 28, 1902 in Fechenheim , † January 2, 1992 in Bad Waldsee ) was a German foil fencer . She became German champion and world champion.
Life
Hedwig Haß fought for the fencing club Offenbach and won the German fencing championships in foil singles in 1933 , 1934 , 1935 , 1938 and 1941 . At the International Championships in Warsaw in 1934 she won silver with the team and bronze in the individual, in 1935 in Lausanne she won bronze with the team, and in 1936 in Sanremo she became team world champion . At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 , Haß took fourth place in the individual. In 1937, Haß won silver with the team at the World Championships in Paris .
