The Kusnja na Rybalskomu ( Ukrainian Кузня на Рибальському , shipyard on Rybalsky Island) is a Ukrainian shipyard and armaments company headquartered in the capital Kiev on Rybalsky Island .
The shipyard is known for building military speed boats , tankers and fishing boats . The company was founded in 1862 by the engineer Donat Fyodor Grigoryevich and after the October Revolution nationalized and renamed "Leninsʹka kusnja". After the collapse of the Soviet Union , privatization took place in 1995 , the joint-stock company was named Завод “Ленінська кузня” . After renaming to Kusnja na Rybalskomu in 2017, the sale of the shipyard by Petro Poroshenko was announced in 2018 .
