The Kvervelnatten ( Norwegian for vertebral tip ) is a mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Kirwanveggen it rises 3 km southwest of the Svartbandufsa .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the mountain using surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) created between 1958 and 1959 .
