Kwanchai Fuangprakob ( Thai : ขวัญ ชัย เฟื่อง ประกอบ , born May 28, 1978 in Sa Kaeo ) is a former Thai football player.

Career

Kwanchai began his career at FC Rajnavy Rayong . He played for this club from 1996 to 2001. He played with him in both the Thai Premier League and the Thailand Division 2 League . In 2002 he moved to BEC-Tero Sasana and became runner-up. He reached the final of the Champions League 2003 with the team. In the first leg, he was substituted on in the 76th minute. The final against the Al Ain Club was lost in the end.

The FC Bangkok University was his next stop and he helped that the promoted Premier League could finish fourth at the end of the season. After only one year he went to FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly , where he played until 2010. In 2005 he was also champion with this club. In 2011 he moved to Chanthaburi FC in the Thai second division before retiring after two years in his hometown with Sakaeo FC .

His national team career was far less successful. He made it to just 11 missions. Although he was repeatedly appointed to the extended circle of the national team, as was last done in 2007, in the end he was mostly not nominated. His greatest success with the national team was reaching the final of the King's Cup in 2002.
