Kwon Hyun-sang (real name Im Dong-jae ; born July 2, 1981 in South Korea ) is a South Korean actor .

Life

His parents are both in the film business. His mother the former actress Chae Ryeong. His father is the director Im Kwon-taek . Since Kwon Hyun-sang wanted to gain a foothold in the acting business without the help of his famous father, he changed his name from Im Dong-jae to the stage name Kwon Hyun-sang . However, in 2010 it became publicly known that Im Kwon-taek is his father. Kwon Hyun-sang studied film and theater at Dankook University . Kwon Hyun-sang made his first film appearance in 2008 with Death Bell . Several appearances in films and television series followed. In 2012, Kwon Hyun-sang starred in the film Let Me Out . For his portrayal of Vampire L in the Korean drama Vampire Prosecutor , he received the Drama Fever Award for best villain in 2012 .
