Death Bell - Fatal Final Exam!

Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp is a2010 South Korean horror film directed by Yoo Sun-dong . It is the sequel to Death Bell from 2008.

action

Student Jeong Tae-yeon is found dead in a swimming pool. The police conclude that it was suicide. Two years later, Tae-yeon's step-sister Se-hui suffers from nightmarish visions and is annoyed by her classmate Ji-yun. Se-hui and 30 other students are selected for a "summer camp" during which they prepare for the university entrance exam. The school's swimming instructor is murdered with a warning to the students that if they fail to find out who committed the murders and why they will all be killed. The students and the rest of the teachers are locked in the school as the murders continue to increase.

Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp premiered at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 23, 2010. On July 28, 2010 the film opened in South Korean cinemas. The film was released on DVD in South Korea on June 2, 2011 .

reception

Hollywood Reporter's Maggie Lee wrote that the film was "mindless" and "sloppily shot." Seo So-ya wrote in the review for JoongAng Daily that the film had not reached its potential and that it should have offered viewers more than just blood. Despite these negative reviews, both The Hollywood Reporter and the JoongAng Daily praised a scene in which a motorcycle attacks a student. Film Business Asia gave the film seven out of 10 points and described it as a good horror film with a better plot than its predecessor.

The film had over 50,000 visitors on the opening weekend. The film grossed just under 5 million in South Korea US dollars one.
