Kwon Sang-woo (born August 5, 1976 in Daejeon ) is a South Korean actor . Before becoming an actor, he worked as a model . Kwon studied mathematics at Seoul University but dropped out to work as an actor.

Kwon was best known for the 2003 film My Tutor Friend . In the television series Stairway to Heaven , Kwon portrays the character of Cha Song Joo , which made him famous in Asia.
