The Kyle Peak is a 2,850 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Barker Range of the Victory Mountains, it rises 3 km northeast of Mount McCarthy .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the New Zealand geochemist Philip Raymond Kyle (* 1947), who was involved in research in this area, including The Pleiades , between 1971 and 1972 as part of a campaign by Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions .
