Kythera Prize
The Kythera Prize is an international culture prize that has been awarded annually by the Düsseldorf Kythera Cultural Foundation since 2002. The main purpose of the foundation founded by Gabriele Henkel in 2001 is to award this 25,000 euro award. With it, the foundation wants to pay tribute to artists “who have rendered services to the cultural exchange between Germany and the Romance countries” (according to self-description).
