Léon Flameng
Léon Flameng (born April 30, 1877 in Paris , † January 2, 1917 in Ève ( Département Oise )) was a French cyclist.
At the First Modern Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896 , Flameng won the 100-kilometer track race in three hours, eight minutes and 19.2 seconds. In the track race over 10,000 meters in the Velodrome Neo Faliro , he finished second behind his compatriot Paul Masson and over 2000 meters he was third behind Masson and the Greek Stamatios Nikolopoulos .
