Léon Lesambo Ndamwize (born June 21, 1929 in Mushie ) is former bishop of Inongo .

Life

Léon Lesambo Ndamwize was ordained a priest on July 21, 1956 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Inongo diocese . Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Inongo on June 12, 1967 .

The apostolic nuncio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo , Rwanda and Burundi Émile André Jean-Marie Maury donated him episcopal ordination on October 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jan Van Cauwelaert C.ICM , Bishop Emeritus of Inongo and Martin-Léonard Bakole wa Ilunga , Archbishop of Luluabourg .

On July 27, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
