The Roman Catholic Diocese of Inongo ( Latin Dioecesis Inongoensis , French Diocèse d'Inongo ) is in the Democratic Republic of Congo situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Inongo .

history

The diocese Inongo was on June 29, 1953 by Pope Pius XII. Established from the cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Léopoldville as the Apostolic Vicariate Inongo . On November 10, 1959, the Vicariate Apostolic Inongo by Pope John XXIII. with the Apostolic Constitution Cum parvulum raised to the diocese.

The diocese of Inongo is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Kinshasa as a suffragan .
