Lónsbakki í hörgárbyggð is a settlement in the northeast of Iceland .

It is located on the ring road about 1 km northwest of Akureyri . Lónsbakki is located in the municipality of Hörgársveit , which has 616 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) . 94 of them lived in the settlement. The only other settlement in the parish is Hjalteyri . The stream on which the settlement is located is called Lónið and flows directly into Eyjafjörður . Bakki is the Icelandic word for river bank.
