The Lübsche Bach is a right tributary of the Schlotfelder Graben or Stormsteichbach in Itzehoe .
The Lübsche Bach rises on the western edge of the Lübschen wood (Itzehoer Stadtforst) near the federal highway 77 . From there it flows to the northeast by the Itzehoer City Park, passes under the Schmabeker way , flowing from then on by the circle forestry Schmabek and finally open corridor, before flowing in the stream which in the underflow as a vent fields trench and in the upper reaches as Storm Teichbach is known .
The creek was only given its name in summer 2014. Before that, it was only functionally referred to as “Vorfluter 28 b”.
The Lübsche Bach is part of the FFH area Rantzau Valley . A near-natural forest development is sought along the stream.
