Lützowstrasse 3 (Hanover)

Lützowstraße 3 was the address of the 19th century in Hannover built community center of the Jewish community Hannover , which also houses the Israelite school of the city was located. The building was later misused as one of the so-called Hanoverian “ Jewish houses ”. The Lützowstrasse multi-storey car park is located at the same address today.

Building description

The parish hall in connection with the Israelite School was built in 1875 by building officer Edwin Oppler . The building in the neo-Gothic style was a "well-executed brick building " made of red bricks with brown glazes and was already considered one of the architectural sights of Hanover shortly after its completion.
