The La Biche River is a right tributary of the Athabasca River in the Canadian province of Alberta .

The La Biche River, named around 1805 after a member of the expedition, forms the outflow of the lake of the same name . He leaves this on its northwest bank. It initially flows north, then curves west and south, passes the town of Rossian , then makes a sharp bend to the north at the bridge of Alberta Highway 63 and finally turns west and south-west again at the settlement of Amesbury after about 70 km it flows on the right side into the Athabasca River flowing north.
