geography

La Floresta is located in the department of Canelones in sector 8 . The place is on the coast of the Río de la Plata between the east bordering Costa Azul and the Parque del Plata in the west . The city limits form the west of the Arroyo Solís Chico and east of the Arroyo Sarandí . In the north, Estación La Floresta is adjacent to the urban area.
