La Jenny
The holiday complex La Jenny ( French: Domaine Résidentiel Naturiste La Jenny ) is a 127 hectare naturist village for naturist holidays on the Atlantic coast in southwest France . It is located on the territory of the municipality Le Porge in Medoc in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .
location
La Jenny is located 15 kilometers north of the Arcachon Bay and 65 kilometers west of the regional capital Bordeaux on the Côte d'Argent , the French Atlantic coast known as the Silver Coast . The closest place is Le Porge. The holiday complex itself is located in the hinterland of the dune landscape, which is heavily forested by pine or pine trees .
Resort and offer
The naturist village was founded in 1983. In 2013 the village celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Today it consists of 756 developed houses, so-called chalets , which are partly owned by individual private owners and partly owned by the central French operator. They are spread over a large area in the forest and are connected by streets.
There are also community buildings in the village center, including a swimming pool, a supermarket, various restaurants and administrative buildings. In addition, the holiday village has its own golf course, riding arenas, various hard court tennis courts as well as boules, basketball and soccer fields. A corresponding animation and training program is offered in the summer months. In total, several thousand people live in the naturist village during this period (April to October).
Away from the fenced-in area, the village administration is also responsible for a guarded, officially recognized and freely accessible nudist beach section on the Atlantic. This can be reached on foot from the village area behind the dunes. In the summer months, water sports events in the field of surfing and kite sports take place here regularly .
