La Pista Lomas Verdes is the most important ice hockey stadium in Mexico. Since it is in Naucalpan, the seat of the Mexican Ice Hockey Federation , the Mexican national ice hockey team plays its home games in Lomas Verdes. In addition, senior and junior world championships, hosted by Mexico, take place regularly in the arena.
Since 2010, Lomas Verdes has been one of two venues of the newly founded Liga Mexicana Élite alongside La Pista San Jeronimo .
