La Roche Longue by Saint-Marcan

The menhir La Roche Longue stands in the middle of a field south of the D 89 road, between the cemetery and the Croix Seigneur, about 200 m southeast of the village of Saint-Marcan near Dol-de-Bretagne , on a slope overlooking the bay of Le Mont-Saint-Michel , in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in France .

It is a 2.9 meter high, plate-like menhir with east-west facing sides.

The menhir dates from the Neolithic Age and was classified as a Monument historique in 1933 .
