The Lac Mistinibi is a lake in the northeast of the Canadian province of Quebec near the border with Newfoundland and Labrador .
Lac Mistinibi is located a few kilometers west of the watershed and provincial border with Newfoundland and Labrador in the northeast of the Labrador Peninsula . The lake is at an altitude of 419 m . It has a length of 48 km and an area of 156 km². The lake receives the water from the neighboring lakes Lac Cananée and Lac Bjarni . The Lac Mistinibi is drained via the Lac Kashetsheministukut to the west and its outflow Rivière Déat to Rivière George .
