The Lake Naococane is a lake in the administrative region Nord-du-Québec of the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Naococane is located approximately 225 km northeast of Lac Mistassini in central Labrador . The lake is located in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 550 m .
The Lac Naococane has a length of 26 km and a width of 18 km. The lake area is 398 km². The water of Lac Naococane flows off to the neighboring Lac Artigny to the west . This is drained from the Rivière Nichicun to Lac Nichicun further west .
