The Lac Vannes is a lake in the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Vannes is located in central Labrador, 120 km north of Schefferville and 10 km northeast of the confluence of the Rivière Murdoch with the Rivière Wheeler . The lake is located south of the Intowin Indian reservation . Lac Vannes is located in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of about 350 m . It is divided into several narrow, elongated sea parts by several peninsulas running in a north-south direction. The length of the lake is 25 km. The maximum sea width is 4 km. The sea covers an area of 88 km². It is drained to the neighboring lake Lac Patiskatikau to the west and on to the Rivière Wheeler.
The lake was named after François Du Pont Duvivier (1676-1714), Sieur de Vannes.
