The Lac Vert is a small mountain lake in Switzerland .

The lake is located at an altitude of 1974 meters in the Chablais region in the canton of Valais , in the area of the municipality of Val-d'Illiez .
It is located near the Col de Chésery pass on the French-Swiss border, in the catchment area of the Rhône . In the north-west the lake is dominated by the Pointe de Chésery and in the south by the Pointe des Mossettes .
A little below the lake is the Lac de Chésery and the Refuge de Chésery - Lac Vert .
Access
You can reach the lake from Morgins via Alp Tovassière (1689 m) or from Val d'Illiez via Portes de l'Hiver resp. Portes du Soleil .
The lake can be reached in around 30 minutes from the mountain stations of the two chairlifts on the Pointe des Mossettes .
