The Pointe des Mossettes is 2277 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Chablais area in the canton of Valais , Switzerland .
The Pointe des Mossettes dominates the Val d'Illiez in the east and the Les Crosets resort in the Portes du Soleil ski area . The mountain lies on the ridge line between the catchment areas of the Vièze and the Dranse de Morzine .
The mountain is part of the international Portes du Soleil ski area and can be reached by chairlifts from Les Crosets or Avoriaz (France). From the mountain station you can walk to about 30 rest. 45 minutes to the two mountain lakes Lac Vert and Lac de Chésery . There is a restaurant at the mountain stations.
