The Lac aux Goélands ( Goélands is the French name for seagulls ) is a lake in the northeast of the Canadian province of Québec .
The Lac aux Goélands is located on the Labrador Peninsula about 170 km northeast of Schefferville . The southwestern Lac Resolution is separated from Lac aux Goélands by a marshland. Important tributaries reach the lake from Lac Raude to the south and Lac Rochereau to the east . To the west, the water of Lac aux Goélands flows to the neighboring Lac Théophile-Poitras and on to the Rivière George . The Lac aux Goélands has a length of 37 km and a width of 10 km. The lake area is 277 km².
