The Lacherspitze is a 1724 m high mountain in the Wendelstein area in the Mangfall Mountains . The mountain hike from the Wendelsteinhaus is easy down to the last few meters, which require sure-footedness. In 2004 there was a bizarre name dispute about the Lacherspitze and the neighboring lower Tagweidkopf (1634 m), which of the two mountains should be named Lacherspitze and which should be named Tagweidkopf.
