Ladislav Vízek (born January 22, 1955 in Chlumec ) is a former Czech football player . He was considered one of the best technicians of all time in Czechoslovakia .

Ladislav Vízek played for TJ Čechie Hlušice and Jiskra Nový Bydžov in his youth . 1974/75 he played for Dukla Žatec , after this season he moved to Dukla Prague . For Dukla he completed 321 first division games in which he scored 115 goals. In 1977, 1979 and 1982 he was Czechoslovakian champion , 1981 and 1983 cup winner . In 1982 he was the top scorer with 15 goals. In 1983 and 1985 he was voted Czechoslovak Footballer of the Year. In 1985/86 he played for the French club Le Havre AC .

For the Czechoslovak national soccer team Vízek made 55 games in which he scored 13 goals. He took part in the 1980 European Championship and the 1982 World Championship . In 1980 he won the gold medal with Czechoslovakia at the Olympic Games in Moscow .

Today he works as a football expert and commentator for the idnes.cz portal of the Czech daily Mladá fronta Dnes .
