The Lago del Zött (also Zöt or Zot ) is a storage basin in the north of the canton of Ticino . The reservoir has a total volume of 1.65 million cubic meters. When the lake is fully blocked, the surface is 1940 m above sea level. M. connected hydraulically to the lake by is Lago di Robiei whose water level is level. The dam has a height of 34 m and was built in 1967 by Maggia Kraftwerke AG.
Access
The lake can be reached through the Maggia valley to the village of Bignasco . From there you drive to San Carlo in the Bavona valley . From San Carlo, a cable car overcomes an altitude of approx. 900 meters to the reservoir. The reservoirs Lago dei Cavagnöö and Lago di Robiei are in the vicinity .
