The Lake Guyra is a dam in northeastern Australian state of New South Wales . It is one of three man-made lakes in the Macleay River catchment area .
The lake is on the Gara River , five miles northeast of the city of Guyra , east of the New England Highway . In addition to the Gara River, its tributary Ryanda Creek also flows into the reservoir on the southern slopes of the Great Dividing Range .
