The Lake Hand is a saltwater lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Vestfold Mountains it is in the center of the Breidnes Peninsula . It is fed, among other things, by a waterfall , which in turn comes from Waterfall Lake .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia probably named it after Raymond M. Hand, who had been part of the cast at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1977.
