Michael Aksel Bataican Falkesgaard (born April 9, 1991 in Kastrup ) is a Filipino - Danish football player .
Michael Falkesgaard was born in Denmark to a Dane and a Filipino woman. In the junior national teams he played for Denmark. In the seniors he has been in goal for the Philippines since 2018 .
Career
society
Michael Falkesgaard learned to play football in Denmark at Kastrup BK and Brøndby IF , where he signed his first contract in 2010. The club played in the highest league in the country, the Superliga . In 2015 he moved to Odense for league rivals Odense BK . In 2017 he left Odense and moved to FC Midtjylland in Herning . He was not used at FC Midtjylland. In 2018 he signed a contract in Thailand with the first division club Bangkok United , a club based in the capital Bangkok .
National team
From 2009 to 2012 Michael Falkesgaard played for the junior teams U18, U19 and U20 for Denmark. He has been in goal for the Philippines since 2018 . So far he has completed ten games.
He made his debut for the Philippine national team on March 22, 2018 in a friendly against Fiji .
