The Lake Marsh is a lake in Hamlin County , in the US state of South Dakota . Its area is 6.4 km² at 510 m above sea level. d. M. The village of Hayti , the capital of the county, is about 3 km to the east.
The lake is located in the Coteau des Prairies region, which is rich in lakes and belongs to the catchment area of the Big Sioux River .
Resident fish species in this body of water are perch , pike and catfish .
