Lake Minami ( Japanese 南 池 Minami-ike , German 'Südweiher' ) is a small lake on the East Ongul Island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located immediately south of Lake Tarachine in the southern part of the island.
Measurements and aerial photographs from 1957 of a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962 , as a result of which the naming was made, were used for mapping. The American Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred this designation in 1968 in a partial translation into English.
